Licensed Electrician / Journeyman

Job Status: Full Time
Reports to: Project Manager / General Field Superintendent
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function below. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
Essential Functions
- Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC)
- Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision
- Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, and control systems
- Installs motor feeders and makes standard motor connections
- Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles
- Consistently follows workplace safety procedures
- Participates in toolbox talks, safety audits, and related safety functions
- Immediately identifies, corrects, and/or reports any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner
- Works as a member of a cohesive team
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Education and Experience: A high school diploma or GED; and completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience
Computer Skills: General computer skills preferred
Certificates and Licenses
- Must possess one of the following licenses:
- Priority 1: Wisconsin Master Electrician OR
- Priority 2: Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician Certification
Training: Current First Aid/CPR and Osha 10-Hour trainings are required in order to perform this job.
Physical Demands: The employee will be required to lift and/ or carry up to 100 lbs during the course of a work day.
Work Environment: Work is performed primarily in indoor and outdoor settings with regular exposure to cold, heat, direct sun light, dirt, hazardous electrical / specialty systems equipment and wiring, and underground and elevated heights.
